Terms of service

The service

Embedded Level is a practice service for embedded systems engineers. It asks questions, measures your level from your answers and produces reports on your strengths and gaps. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the provider of Embedded Level. The service is under active development. Features may change, and occasional problems may occur.

Your account

You can sign in with a Google account, or with an email address and a password that you set on this site. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password private. Each account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in details or resell access.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, bulk download or republish the question bank. The questions and explanations are original work and are protected by copyright.
• Do not try to bypass limits, extract answers before you submit them, or interfere with other people's accounts.
• Automated access, load testing and denial-of-service attempts are not permitted.

Plans and payment

The free plan includes the full question bank, with a limit of 5 practice questions per day. The paid plan removes this limit and adds Interview prep and the readiness report. Interview prep writes 30 questions for each job description you paste, up to 400 AI-written questions per calendar month. Questions already written remain available after that.

The paid plan costs AED 49 in the UAE, and in most other countries US$13 or about the same amount in a local currency. The price and the currency are shown before you pay and charged as shown. It gives you 30 days of paid access. It is a single purchase, not a subscription. It does not renew automatically, and there is nothing to cancel. When the 30 days end, your account returns to the free plan and your history is kept. If you pay again while you still have days left, 30 days are added to the end of your current period.

Payments are processed by Ziina. You enter your card details on Ziina's payment page, and they never reach us. We do not store your card. Paid access starts as soon as Ziina confirms the payment.

Refunds

Paid access starts immediately and is used day by day. The purchase is therefore final once your paid days begin. We do not give refunds for a change of mind, for unused days, or because your level or report was not what you hoped for.

If a paid feature does not work because of a fault on our side, contact us at the address below and describe what happened. We will fix the fault, refund the payment or add back the lost days, as the problem requires. Report the fault while your paid days are still running, so that we can see the problem. Please contact us before you ask your bank or Ziina to reverse the payment.

Accuracy and limitations

The questions, explanations and level estimates are provided for learning. They may contain errors. Nothing on this site is a certification, a qualification, or a guarantee of the outcome of any job application or interview. Always check technical details against the datasheet and reference manual for your hardware before you rely on them in a design.

Your content

You keep ownership of anything you paste in, such as a job description. You give us permission to process it only to produce your topic profile, your practice questions and your reports.

Liability

We provide the service as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending access

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of the acceptable use rules above. Paid days lost through a suspension are not refunded.

Your legal rights

If the law of the country where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights still apply.
